I need some web sites or references that I can use to find info on popular trends propagated by electronic media and what ways these trends and electronic media directly impact world view.  

The references I need should help me assess the impact that popular culture, as constructed and disseminated by electronic media has had on the formulation of family obligations, consumerism, and sexual identity.

I prefer the references to be internet based.  I need at least 3 references to help me put together a 1750 word paper.
