As  the  social  and  cultural aide  to  the  mayor of  a  major  city , itt  is  your  responsibility  to  provide  the  mayor  and   other  city  officials   with  a  sociological  perspective  that  will hellp  them  shape   public  policies   and  draft city ordinances.Since  you are new  to the  area , you want  to  begin    by  preparing   a  sociological   profile  of  your city  ( or county).

Population density  and  diversity.
Median household  income
Percent  unemployment
Percent persons in poverty
Median home  values

Check   several  examples of  the  local  media and  determine  the  types  of  behavior(s) that  distinguish high culture in the  area. What kind  of  behaviors  distinguish  popular  culture?  Cite  your  sources.
