I need a couple of question answered so that I may continue with my studies of religion. If you could expand on the questions, I would greatly appreciate it. After viewing the movie, The Passion of the Christ, I cannot seem to come up with the answers to these questions. 1) How the different “worlds” of the New Testament represented in the film? 2) How does the film contribute to your understanding of the settings and purposes of the Gospels and Synoptic Gospels (or does it)? 3) How is the view of Jesus as a prophet, son of man, and a Messiah, as well as why he chose the role that he did, represented in the film?
