Does THEODICY mean the same in the Books of Job, Ecclesiastes and Proverbs? Our study group is having a difficult time distinguishing the difference? Please only respond if you really understand the difference b/c we're already so confused we're arguing way too much! Thanks

Can you help clarify the barreness concept that we find in Genesis. Our study group wants to understand its purpose..it must be significant but we can't agree on why.

My study group is having difficulty with grasping why the term WISDOM means different things in different chapters like Job, Ecclesiastes, Proverbs. Explain concept of knowledge

Our study group is at odds over the concept of knowledge as we tackle the Book of Genesis: we need to comprehend the various ways in which it is defined in respect to the stories of Adam and Eve? Isaiah "fruitfulness v. desolation"

Can anyone explain the significance of the metaphors found in the Book of Isaiah which are used in opposition: fecundity versus desolation? Our study group would like an easy, simple explanation if anyone has knowledge of this. Many thanks.
