Examples of the developmental theories

What are examples of the developmental theories that a one year old would do? I have already observed a 13 month old and she sings and dances to toys that plays music, she repeats sounds and says "mamama" but I am not sure which developmental theories this applies to so I would like some examples(at least two) of each of developmenal theories to make sure I will be on the right track writing my paper.

Dyslexia articles

I was wondering if someone could help me find two journal articles that I can access and aren't too difficult to understand. One article must be on dyslexia being caused by faulty wiring within the brain and the other must be on dyslexia being caused by dysfunction in the auditory process.
