blood calcium ion homeostasis

I have a question that is being asked for homework.  I can find all of the information on homeostasis.  I am supposed to include negative and posative feedbacks in my example.  But what I can't find is how the body maintains the blood calcium ion homeostais.  If I sould find out what this means, I could possibly answer my homework paper.  Thank you.
