Energy - Frequency Relations for Photons


Could you please see the attached problem and show how to verify that the relation 1 in the problem is consistent with the constant speed of light being c? Also, what would be the rest mass of the photon given the relativistic expression for the velocity? I think the rest mass would be zero, but am not sure how to show that. Thank you.
