I just took this test and got more than half wrong and I am not sure why. I guess I do not know my fallacies as well as I thought I did. I am trying to figure out what is correct as he has not posted the answers yet. All I know is I got 6 out 6 incorrect. The following arguments contained various kinds of fallacies. Q: if, in reply to an argument formulated by another person, someone says "truth is in the eye of the beholder" and then walks away, what method(s) of soft-thinking has this person employed? my A: This soft thinker used reason substitutes. (rejecting any new proposals, believing opposite to be individualist) definitely uses argument stopper, fanatical closure. (argument stopper verbal response to arumentation that is inteded to, and has effect of, ending rational debate, fanatical closure refusing to listen closing off ones mind). Is that correct, i miss anything?

i am presented with a quote from Immanuel Kant the quote is as follows: "But let us suppose that there were something whose existence has in itself and absolute worth, something which as an end in itself could be a ground of determinate laws... Now i say that man, and in general every rational being, exits as an end in himself and not merely as a means to be arbitrarily used by this or that will". i need to know what is kant main idea, and why does he present this main idea?
