Philosophy is a core unit at my university, and it is far from my area of expertise (Electrical Engineering). I have attempted researching the above question in search of philosophers or scholarly articles that provide arguments both for and against the topic, and have come up with a few arguments (attached), but would like a broader perspective, and a broader range of arguments both for and against the topic.
