relating distance to speed using dimensional analysis
Step 1: A 240 horsepower car beginning at a stop goes 1/10 of a mile. At optimum performance, what is the maximum speed in miles per hour the car can reach? Feet per minute? Step 2: How many feet have been traveled in a 240 horsepower car when the speed reaches 35 MPH at optimum performance? what fraction of a mile is that distance?

STEP1: A 240horsepower car that weighs 4300lbs beginning at a stop travels 1/10 of a mile. At optimum performance, what is the maximum speed in MILES per HOUR the car can reach? What is the speed in Mi/Hr at 1/15 of a mile?STEP2: In the same car, how many FEET have been traveled(at max performance) when the car reaches the speed of 35 MPH?

I need to understand measurement and mensuration
continuous data. I do not understand how to make it work for example A car travels at a constant speed of 70km per hour for a time of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Its speed is quoted to the nearest km/h and the time is quoted to the nearest minute. Calculate: a) the maximum possible distance that the car could have travelled b) the minimum distance the car could have travelled This is just an example I have copied from a text book it is not part of any assignment.
