These questions are posed: 1. Have interest groups become powerful in our society? I definitely do think that these groups do have a powerful presence in the government. These groups play a significant role in politics and I do think that they can have a positive impact on critical governmental issues ( i.e the environment) but it is unfortunate that many of these groups try to take unlawful measures to have their policies and laws established.
