Among a million other areas where I am looking at lead, specifically toxicological effects, I am to find the following information. Some of this material is difficult to locate, and I would greatly appreciate all help in finding the following information, for Canada, or the States. When I have compiled all the information I am to create a mock policy dealing with lead 1. Identify industry policies dealing with lead 2. Identify areas where lead may be in use in health care buildings- be it in the buildings, in processes, or in products. 3. Develop a list of chemicals, processes and harmful substances that... click for more

Respirators for abatement / remediation
I am having a bit of difficulty tracking down the correct respirators to use for the abatement of lead in the workplace, and the correct respirators to use for the remediation of mould in the workplace. I am trying to find the industry best standards. Does anyone know the types of respirators to use (I imagine there are 2 different types), and sources (i.e. paper, or internet sites) that state these are the correct respirators to use? It would be more then helpful if some of these sources were Canadian. I appreciate all your help in this matter. Thank you.
