Seamounts on a mid ocean ridge

I need to figure out the mathematical equation to figure out how far away a seamount is from the median valley of the spreading ridge of a mid ocean ridge. I have the distance of one seamount (200km) which is 10 million years old (at a depth of 4km from the ocean surface) and I need to figure out the distance of a seamount that is 3km deep and 5 million years old. I don't need the answer, I just need to figure out how to input the numbers into an equation that would give me the answer.

What is the different in Sierra Nevada (CA) vs. Mount Mitchell (NC)

Both of this mountain are mountain belts - one is a folded mountain belt the other is a Igneous mountain belt. I need to know more facts about this two mountains. What make them alike and what make them different.

Determining movement of a fault.
