How specifically does consuming organic vs non organic foods decrease global warming? Specifically how does consuming organic foods positively affect the local ecosystem. Is it this simple? ? I am assuming that by eating organic foods, you are eliminating the use of chemicals and pesticides. In doing this you reduce contamination of the water table and thus maintaining your ecosystem. Also can you explain how nitrogen is involved in contaminating the water (I am confused by this) Also by eating locally produced organic food you reduce the consumption of fossil fuels associated with food distribution and production. Can you specifically explain how this occurs?
