If you were asked to become the minister or secretary in the Federal Government or United Nations in charge of doing something about global warming, what policies would you attempt to implement? Why?

Food production

You decided to post the following provocative statement on your website this week for discussion, "In a market economy, food flows in the direction on economic demand. Need is not taken into consideration. To illustrate, in the event that there are hungry cats and hungry children, the food will go to the cats if the owners of the cats have money and the children's parents don't." I am confused as to what this is asking?? Is is asking about food security, global issues?? I am assuming that it is asking about the levels of food security and how/why it affects the world in which we live

What is a superfund site?

There are many superfund sites in the U.S. and some of you may be surprised to learn that there is probably a superfund site located very close to where you live and you were not even aware of it. 1. Define what a superfund site is. 2. Identify a superfund site within your own state. (A superfund site is NOT a website-it’s an actual location with high levels of pollution) 3. Give some background information on the site and the proposed plans to deal with this site. Where is the problem? What is the contamination? Who created this problem? Why What is the contamination?
