The Flaming Heart

I am asked to do a Literary Explication of the attached work.  My teacher told me to use the passives and actives in this poem.  Or do you have another idea I could do an explication on.  I am totally lost on this paper and have already had 2 returned that were wrong according to my professor.  Could you please help me to come up with something or tell me what you understand by him saying to talk about the actives (teresa) and the passives (readers and Crashaw).
