An evaluation of a literary poem is advised.

How would I undertake an evaluation of a literary poem, analysing in particular its theme, mood, tone, form and style using an example? As they say, Jenkins, this hurts me More than it hurts you. But I show you I am a man; by doing this to you. When you are a man, Jenkins, you may hear That physical humiliation and ritual Are concerned with strange adult matters - like rape, or masochistic fantasies. You will not accept such stories. Rather, you will recall with pride, Perhaps even affecti... click for more

Thematic and formal connections and differences between two of Frost's works

I am writing a 1,200 word essay discussing the thematic and formal connections and differences between "The Road not Taken" and "Stopping by Woods One Snowy Evening". Dylan Thomas

Identify the point of view of Dylan Thomas' "The Hunchback in the Park". What do the details of the poem tell us about the speaker? Should be a somewhat brief essay. Dylan Thomas - The Hunchback In The Park The hunchback in the park A solitary mister Propped between trees and water From the opening of the garden lock That lets the trees and water enter Until the Sunday sombre bell at dark Eating bread from a newspaper Drinking water from the chained cup That the children filled with gravel In the fountain basin where I sailed my ship Slept at night in a dog kennel But nobody chained him up. Like the park birds he came early Like the water he sat down ... click for more
