DC Machines

A DC shunt motor has the following parameters: Ra=0.16W, Rf =36 W, supply voltage of 72V, Kt=0.278  , torque of 12.73 Nm at a speed of 1200 rpm.
(1). Calculate the emf constant, armature current and efficiency of this motor at this value of load
(2). What is the new speed of the motor if the torque is reduced by 80%
(3). Calculate the field resistance required to increase the speed of the motor to 2000 rpm with a load torque of 12.73 Nm.
