Op Amps

Attached is the problem and the work I've done so far. Please check to make sure it is absolutely correct and then help me understand and SOLVE the rest of the problem. **Any bottom of any circuit cutoff, it's just a horizontal line for ground w/ nothing else.

MOSFET amplifier w/active load

For a simple MOSFET amplifer with active load shown in Figure 1-.33, the transistor parameters are: Vtn=1v, Vtp1=Vtp2=-1V, Kp1=Kp2=Kn=100 uamps/V^2, and lambda1=lambda2=lambdan=.02V^-1. Let V+=10V and Iref=100 uAmps. (a) Find Vsg. (b) What value of Vi will produce Vds0=Vsd2? (c) determine the open circuit small signal gain. After alot of grinding and gnashing of teeth, I determined that Vsg=Vtn+sqrt(Iref/Kn)=2V. However, after that I am stuck. Please tell me how you solve for b and c. Thank you. Differential Amplifier Design

Please work the problem and explain how you found the necessary values. Thank you. Design a differential amplifier as shown in Figure 11.28 incorporating a basic two transistor current source to establish Iq. The bias voltages are V+=15V and V-=-15V, the transistor parameters are Beta=180 and Va=100V, and the maximum forward transconductance is to be 8ma/V. [a] Show the complete circuit, with all component values. [b] What are the values of open-circuit differential-mode voltage gain, differential-mode input resistance, and output resistance? [c] Determine the common-mode input voltage range and the common-mode input resistance. If there were examples in the book instead of obscure ... click for more
