What is and is not multimedia

I would an understanding of what is multimedia. Examples of multimedia. I also would like to know what is not multimedia.

please provide with resources or references where i can find additional reading.

I search the internet i have some definition, i would like to compare what i have found over the internet with some of your responses.

Please give as much detail as possible.  Most of the definition i found were generalize nothing specific.
