Step by Step Explanation Ethylene, C2H4, will react with hydrogen gas under appropriate conditions to form ethane, C2H6. A 10.0-liter vessel is charged with 1.5 atm of hydrogen and 1.0 atm of ethylene at 25°C. The reaction is allowed to proceed to completion. Determine the total pressure in the vessel at 25° at the completion of the reaction.

Step by Step explanation Ferrous oxalate, FeC2O4, will decompose on heating: FeC2O4 (s) ® FeO (s) + CO2 (g) + CO (g) A 1.25-gram sample of FeC2O4 is added to an evacuated 2.00-liter steel vessel. The vessel is heated to 400°C, at which point all the FeC2O4 is decomposed. Calculate the pressure inside the vessel at 400°

Design experiment to reduce Fe+3 to Fe+2
I just need some help to get started on designing an experiment for a quantitative colorimetric iron assay. We're allowed to use the followiing items: deionized water 0.02 M feCl3 1,10-phenantnthroline ferrozine filter paper test tubes and test tube racks volumetric flasks HCl NaOH digested soil samples undigested soil samples Are solutions with Fe+3 ions a different color than Fe+2 solutions? What colors are they? How can I figure out the molecular formulas of 1,10-phenanthroline & ferrozine? What does the soil add to the equation?
