Nitrogen fixation - electron allocation coefficient
Why does EAC have a maximum value of 0.75? What would be the likely effect on plant yield if this value declined to a very low level?

Nitrogen fixation-nitrate treated plant response to increases oxygen concentration
In a lab experiment we compared the response of control(Nitrate -) and nitrate treated plants to an increase in oxygen concentrations. I concluded that nitrogenase activity increased in both plants but the increase was slightly higher in the nitrate free plant. Can you explain to me why this happened?

nitrogen fixation- nitrogenase activity
When comparing nodule specific nitrogenase activitiies in control and nitrate treated plants at 20% oxygen, why is it necessary to express nitrogenase activity per gram fresh weight of nodule tissue?
