Amplified rat epithelium RNA and collected cDNA bands
In Figure 2, the authors amplified rat epithelium RNA and collected cDNA bands of 600- 1300 base pairs. Treating these cDNAs with endonuclease suggested the band collected from lane 13 of Fig. 2A actually comprised different species of cDNA. Do you agree with this finding? Explain. See attached file.

SCI Biology Essay - Help with ideas
Today, scientific advances are being made at an astounding rate, and nowhere is this more evident than in our understanding of the biology of heredity. Using DNA as a starting point, do you believe there are limits to the knowledge people should acquire? Defend your answer. Because genetics is important to so many aspects of human behavior, defense attorneys might consider using a defendant's genetic constitution as a strategy to excuse criminal behavior. Take one of the two sides listed below: 1. Present an argument about why a defendant's genes should be considered as a factor in the criminal behavior. 2. Present an argument about why a defendant's genes do not excuse criminal behavi... click for more

Vinblastine is a drug that interferes with the assembly of microtubules. It is widely used for chemotherapy in treating cancer patients whose cancer cells are actively dividing to form tumors. Suggest a hypothesis to explain how vinblastine slows tumor growth. Assuming that albinism is under the control of a single gene pair and inherited as an autosomal recessive trait, could two albino individuals ever produce any offspring with normal pigmentation? Discuss some examples of when the environment influences the expression of genes.
